Characters in Zooba can be upgraded to level 20, which increases their weapon damage, health, and speed. Once you have enough tokens, you can level up the animal and thereby unlock access to passive skills, which also need to be activated. Considering that you can get around a hundred coins from the usual crates, activities, and victories, it will take forever to save up enough to level up at least one hero. In addition, characters can use items, but they are obtained from legendary crates or toolboxes, which have a small chance of dropping something good. The Self-Defibrillator allows a mortally wounded player to be revived once per match, and the Holy Sandals allow a player to temporarily walk on water.
